C'mon, can owning a dog at this stage in life REALLY be ALL that bad??

Yes...
(This picture really doesn't show the whole effect of muddy dog prints covering 80% of the kitchen floor... after mopping TWICE...)

...YES...

...and Y-E-S!!!!
(oh, and yes, that IS a torn diaper, and YES, it was full of what you think it was!)

Can someone just put the straight jacket on me now, please??

Just so you know - we took our puppy to a shelter - it was hardest on the adults - all Jack said was, "Now we can get a nice doggie." Life really does go on when you have to make the tough choice - good luck.

Oh Jen. I think Bailey will be a puppy at heart the rest of his life! That dog never ceases to amaze me. You better have left that mess for Jerry! ;) Please please please don't tell me that was a torn up diaper in the last pic!!!! So Gross!!! Yoda did that to Ashton's diapers when he was a baby and yoda was a puppy, I could have killed that dog!

I'm so sorry! What a mess and so gross!!! My kids and I keep begging for a dog, and Nate keeps putting his foot down with a MAJOR NO. Today, I'm thinking no dog is not such a bad thing.

Jen I popped on over to check out your blog and Oh my can I ever relate to the dog post. We have an adorable white Maltese and while I like "the dog"...I don't necessarily like "having" a dog. And when Ellie was in diapers and he feasted on the poopy diapers...um ya...white dog...poopy snacks...YUCK, BLECH, SHIVER, GAG, GROSS. I'm with the last comment...

SERIOUSLY?

Cute blog btw!
