oh, man! That loaf looked so good and perfect! Really makes me want to make bread right now. I can almost smell the fresh baked bread!

Oh, and remind me, I need to talk to you about you having a "talk" at our church sometime. I think the ladies there would love to hear your awesome advice for eating and baking!

Ok, this begs the question - what were you doing taking a picture of a loaf of bread to start with?

So this explains your facebook "status"!!!! So funny. That bread looked so good too! No wonder you took a picture of it, it was a prize winner, and then a smashed prize winner. Gosh, no clue as to what to do with it now! Good luck! :)

Jen, it would still be good for bread and milk. But I failed by not teaching our children to love homemade bread and milk like my Grampa Huffaker taught me...

I want to know why you are taking a picture too, except that it is a BEAUTIFUL loaf of bread. So sad for you.

hahah - why in the world DID I take a picture of the bread, anyway??! Well, a couple of reasons... my latest 'jump into food storage rotation mode' has been to make all of our bread instead of buying it, so I have been doing that for about 3 months now (yea for wheat rotation!! Not to mention that the recipe is SUPER easy and SUPER fast SUPER yummy and SUPER cheap (think under $1 as opposed to $5 at great harvest)!!! Thanks to my friend actually coming to my house and walking me through the steps!!). I have now started to share the recipe with groups that I council for nutrition and did a demo for one of the classes, so I thought it would help to have a some pictures with the recipe. (yes, Julie already informed me that I am kinda kooky when it comes to stuff like this!!
The other reason (and probably the main one...) is that when you get in the blogging mind set, your camera pretty much gets taken out at any 'potential blogging' moment, and as the bread was coming out of the oven, the smells took me back our house in Burley - walking in the door from school and being greeted with the fresh homemade bread smell - it was a huge nostalgic moment for me, so I thought - 'hey, I could blog about this...'
And there you have the "taking pictures of bread" answer :)

Joshy's face is so cute - so determined. And the homemade bread... it still must have tasted yummy - unless it got stepped on and rubbed all over the floor. But I want to make some homemade bread now. I might still eat it smashed, or make bread pudding with raisins.
