Let it go, Let it go, Let it go...

... is my mantra this season.  I am letting the kids have full reign of the decorations.  We will not be earning any Good Housekeeping awards but the memories have been priceless.

   Here is a brief example...

Here is the 'example' picture on the box:

... and here is the kids interpretation...

This is actually a pretty good representation of what our actual tree looks like... :)
So here you have it:  Christmas  interpretations from the Brewer Babes :)
Eat your heart out, Martha Stewart :)

I love when you compre the real thing to the product when you're done with it.

I laughed out loud! I love the gingerbread house! It's priceless! Seriously! Sometimes we get too caught up in having to have everything picture perfect, when the kids don't care and why should we ruin their fun? You did great letting them "take control"! It's hilarious! And you'll treasure that picture for a long time to come! Very cute!

I've always found it best to let the kids decorate -- then I don't have to take the credit or the blame!! Luckily for me, now Aimee is a beautiful decorator, and I can still "let the kids decorate" -- only the little ones ask, "How come we always do it Aimee's way?"

Jen, reading your blog is so fun for me! You make all the craziness and frustrations of motherhood seem so sweet and endearing. :-) Your stories are wonderful, and your kids are just beautiful!
